SSl persistence

So ssl persistence works on session ids. if i dont have a cert on servers or f5 and VIP has SSL persistence will the client still get a session id or not?as there is no cert.

    It is referring to a SSL session id. You would not get a SSL session id without a SSL profile. Also, be weary about using SSL session id for persistence as SSL sessions can get renegotiated during an existing connection. Cookie persistence w/SSL termination may be a better option.
