SSL handshake ended with TCP RST
Any idea what possible cause of the handshake failing?

You should first enable the logging of the Handshake failure reason on F5 by doing
tmsh modify /sys db tm.rstcause.log value enable
Then reproduce the issue to view the logged reason, refer to the following table to view definition of each RST cause : https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K13223
