SSL-enabled name-based virtual hosts

Hi,

 

 

does anybody has any experience with SSL named-base virtual hosts. As IE6 is being dropped by google this feature could be really usable for vips with ssl certificates. That could spare a lot of IPs in big SSL setups.

 

 

Any hint?

    If you are referencing the TLS Server Name Identification option, then yes, this is possible with an iRule. Note, however, you need to ensure all your clients support as default the TLS SNI option, which IE7 pre-Vista cannot (last I checked anyway)
