SSH Proxy

Hello Together,

 

I have an issue with an ssh Proxy Environment. BIGIP VE with Version 13.1.0.8

 

Virtual Server with SSH Profile applied. Connection and authentication is working like a charm. SSH Profile has every Action allowed for troubleshooting

 

SFTP Upload and Download is working as Long as the files are below 500KByte but we need to transfer more then 150GByte

 

also I'm not aware on any restrictions related to file size (Document: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K79347503)

 

Addionally I did not find an Explanation for the Option "Other" in the SSH Proxy Permissions.

    it would open a ticket with F5 support in parallel. i don't see this feature mentioned a lot here, so you might be one of the first to have such an issue here.

      have a case open and F5 did already find something - issue is just related to one specific sftp client - F5 will fix this in the next releases.

       

      afterwards I will share more information if I'm allowed. Will ask this then. In general, the feature is great and working

    Also note that we can create a custom logging profile with protocol security enabled in order to see good information in the logs. By default nothing is turned on for Protocol Security logging.
