Sporadic server connection reset errors

Hi

I work as a Major Incident Manager and have been attempting to diagnose a particular issue with our technical teams.

We have service which allows customers to apply for Savings accounts with our Bank, however, when attempting to complete the 3 different types of online application forms, various errors are received such as:

  1. "Your server to the connection was reset whilst the page was loading"
  2. "This site can't provide a secure connection. () sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"
  3. "This page isn't working. () didn't send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE"

The three URLs in question are:

1. https://www.britannia.co.uk/savingsapp/preamble.do?affinity=default&selectorname=selectaccsav8 2. https://www.britannia.co.uk/savingsapp/preamble.do?affinity=default&selectorname=1yrfrbondmth 3. https://www.britannia.co.uk/savingsapp/preamble.do?affinity=default&selectorname=1yrfrcashisa

When looking at the Infrastructure diagram for this solution, the customer's session passes through a F5-BIG-IP device and then moves onto the necessary servers.

Our teams have monitored the logs on the application/web servers yet whenever any of the above errors are displayed to the end-user, nothing shows up (as if the traffic isn't getting that far).

Could anyone on this forum shed any light on this from an F5-BIG-IP perspective? Is this a known thing that requires a patch? Do you too get the errors when attempting to go through the forms?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
