I wish to create a https monitoring to a URL That is hosting in the datacentre but not via the LTM and I wish to achieve this by using GTM generic host + monitoring.

NoctilucentIs your server object in a data center within GTM? If so, do you have a prober pool assigned to that data center that includes the LTM that is polling it?
