snmp NTP config can be synced?

Hi

I am setting up two new VCMP guests.

After setting up self IPs etc. I setup HA.

iF I configure NTP,SNMP etc. on active ,will that be sunced with standby or

do I have to configure these before setting up HA individually on both guests ?

Basically I need to understand what is the mandatory config needed before HA and can not be synced automatically ..

  • Hello,

Normally, you need to setup network settings (vlan, trunk, interface, physical self ip) on both devices. You also need to configure hostname, ntp, dns, admin accounts, config sync on each. Then, everything else will be synced from one to another. You still have some specific settings to apply on each system. For example, when you edit a file or add a cron job, it's not synced, neither keeped when upgrading.
