SNAT takes precedence over NAT or NAT over SNAT
Dear Experts,
As far as I understood that SNAT takes precedence over NAT however as per the article ";, NAT takes precedence over SNAT.
Please shed some light on this.
Thank You.

It appears that with just plain SNAT and NAT, NAT takes precedence. But when a virtual server is configured with a SNAT, this takes precedence over NAT.

Fozail, I must admit I did think this was the case too but according to the Sol it's the other way around I.e. NATs over SNATs.
So this will only be relevant for source IP address matching and, in that instance, as NATs use host IP only and they can't be shared with a SNAT then the closest match will the NAT, hence the higher precedence. Makes sense after reading the sol. Luckily I rarely use NATs.
Hope this helps,
N
