SMTP relay issue

Hi

 

I am using VIP for smtp relay of mails to internal as well as external domains but we are facing intermittent issue as at times mails are getting dropped and getting the error:

 

The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated

    Hi Manendar,

     

    As per alert which you shared its seems issue not belongs to load balancer however you can check the connector properties of SMTP server where in permissions anonymous should be select.

    Hi Manedar,

     

    I am trying to configure an F5 VS as an SMTP relay to external domains. Could you tell me how you achieved this?
