If there is an issue with the GUI, but the CLI works fine for the same user account and same remote auth configuration, I'd suggest it might be a bug. It would be helpful to have someone review the tcpdumps from a working and slow unit as well as the full remote auth configuration. You might try opening a case with F5 Support on this.
