Size of caching profile
Hi guys,
I have BIG-IP 4000 with version 11.5.1 and 4 TMM. According to calculation, maximum cache profile size is 797 MB. Does it mean, that we have space only for 797 MB or we have space 3188 MB (797 for each TMM) for caching?
Thanks
Roman

This is explained in this solution: https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/800/sol13878.html
if anything is unclear, let me know.
- BinaryCanary_19Historic F5 AccountGenerally, the setting you specify in the cache profile is multiplied by the number of TMMs. So if it says the maximum size of your profile can be 797MB, it means with 4 TMMs, your total cache size is (797 * 4). You can have one single profile with this size, or you can have multiple profiles each using smaller bits of memory. Note that configuring the profile doesn't cause memory to be used, you have to attach the profile to a virtual before it counts towards the memory used.

Thank you clarification aFanen01. I saw the sol13878 before, but it wasn't clear for me. We already configured caching and it's working fine, but I was curious how much memory can caching consume totally. Now it's clear.
