SiteProtector HA using LTM & GTM

Dear All,

 

 

I was thinking to get High Availability for SiteProtector which is the central management console of ISS (IBM) managing IPS, HIPS and VA.

 

 

From your experience, do you think using GTM or LTM can give HA for SiteProtector?

 

 

Please advice

    Depends on how you want it layed out. GTM's usually are designed to handle HA from a geographical perspective (Multiple Datacenters), while LTM are for servers in a LAN. If the Central management console of ISS is located in one datacenter then LLTM is better fitted for you.

    Lets suppose that I have both server in the same LAN, will the SiteProtector work with LTM, please remember that its a real time server receiving events from different sensors host & network IPS.
