Should I reployed the guest when I add a new vlan to guest?

Dear F5 experts

 

Now I want to add some new vlans to the guests which is running in the viprion host. What is the correct steps I need to do? I have not found the guide about my question.

 

operatate in host 1.create vlan : network > vlans > creat 2.add vlan to guest: what should I do at this time? disable the guest and add vlan, or directly add vlan? Does the requested state(configured, provisoned and deployed) of guest will impact our operation?

    Hi,

     

    So as you said you have to create the VLAN in Hypervisor then add it to your Guest.

     

    it is added automatically to the Guest and instantly. you do not need to reboot or anything.

     

    this action has no edge effects. I do it regularly on vcmp Hypervisor or viprion...
