Sharepoint 2016 Persistance- LTM

Hello,   Is there any recommended persistence settings for share point 2016. I am not using any APM/iapps function here . Just LTM settings.   Appreciate your thoughts ?

Microsoft does not recommend persistence in LTM on and after 2013 version of SharePoint /exchange Persistence is handled by sharepoint, exchange cas etc
