sfp serial number

Hi,

 

 

how can I get the serial number from the sfp´s in my remote system?

 

Viprion 2400 Blade 2100 Version 11.1.0.1953.0-HF1

 

I only found

 

tmsh show sys hardware,

 

but shows only the chassi numbers

    Hi Markus,

     

     

    It's not currently possible to get the serial number or part number of the modules remotely--you need to pull the modules to confirm this. Here's a request for enhancement you can reference with F5 Support for this:

     

     

    Bug 382312 - RFE: Expose SFP/SFP+/QSFP "part number" and "Laser Emitter" via tmsh

     

     

    You can open a case with F5 Support referencing BZ382312 to raise the visibility of the request.
