Serving/Caching 3rd party content

I have an interesting question for you:

 

 

I have a partner who we usually pull content from via HTTP every 5 minutes, download to our static server so that we can serve to our public users.

 

 

Is it possible for us to create an iRule which would recognize a specific URL being requested as part of our sites page, have the F5 make an HTTP request to the partner site, store the response in the F% cache under the requested URL for delivery to our end users?

 

 

Note that we have both the RAMCACHE and GZip ASIC modules.

 

 

This would save us the trouble of an offline process and remove another potential fault area.

 

 

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!
