SERVER FAILURE DURING UPDATE

I'm trying to create a new record but the record is not created and the "Server failure during update" message is shown.   The message in the Global Traffic log shows this: Fri Feb 14 10:37:10 CST...

i had a similar error - it was because i copied the zone files to a new box using SCP and the file permissions for the zone file were owned by root - had to change the owner to named... hopefully this helps someone else out!
