I have configured an APM lab environment that authenticates the users to an Active Directory Server.
I noticed there is an E-mail option on the Virtual Policy Editor
Is it possible - by using session variables - to send an e-mail to the user after it logs on to APM portal?

Hello,
You can put the email block at the end of the VPE, just before the allow ending.
You can use sesion variables within the recipient field, so that if you get the email address of the user (using AD/ldap query), you will be able to achieve what you want
