Send an email to user after APM logon

I have configured an APM lab environment that authenticates the users to an Active Directory Server.

I noticed there is an E-mail option on the Virtual Policy Editor

Is it possible - by using session variables - to send an e-mail to the user after it logs on to APM portal?
