self ip and VS

hello , Want to clarify If I have created self ip address for each vlan on the LB . whenever I create new VS do I need to add that VS as floating ip address as well .

No, you do not create a floating ip for a new VS.

 

A floating IP is used in a redundant active/passive deployment. The float ip is used as the source of all client traffic and 'floats' to the currently active unit in the cluster.
