self IP and management IP in the same subnet

Can i configure both self IP and management IP in the same subnet . For requesting different subnet (self IP). It will take ages to get this change completed so we want to know if there is a possible option to have both the self IP and management IP in the same vlan.

    The management IP and self IPs cannot share an address space. You could allow management through the self IP and not use the management interface.
