Self Ip Address Internal not recheable from Docker
Hello All,
I am using LTM VE BIG-IP 11.6.2. I am new to F5. The topology is simple -
BIG IP LTM (1.2)<---->eth0 (Linux) <192.168.122.4> <192.168.122.10>
I have configured self IP address Internal with 192.168.122.4. But I am unable to ping each other. Could you shed some light what could be the issue or anything other info you would require from my setup.

Sorry, you might need to be a bit clearer in your description...
Do you mean you have the same subnet on eth0 (Mgmt interface) and a VS? (Which is invalid). Or is that eth0 a different server? Where does 192.168.122.10 come into it?
Or is that just text that you forgot to wrap preformated around?
Things to check (Assuming it's a badly formatted 'diagram')
- Is the self-ip configured to accept and respond to ping?
- Do you have multiple interfaces on the same subnet?
- Are you getting an ARP response from the BigIP back to the Linux box? (arp -an|grep 192.168.122.4)
- Can you see echo-request leaving the Linux box destined for the correct MAC? (tcpdump)
- Can you see traffic incoming on interface 1.2 from the Linux box? (Hint. Use tcpdump)
- If you see traffic inbound, do you see ARP and echo-request? What about echo-reply?
- What if you tcpdump on ALL interfaces and not just 1.2?
