IT sounds to me like you are trying to write this code into Sharepoint? If I am understanding your question have you tried posting this question to the Microsoft support forums? I would think that calling an additional (Script/Link/URI) from within sharepoint would need to be done in the correct fashion. As this would need to be replicated to several pages plus any new content pages that are created. I realize this is not a answer to your problem but I am not sure you are asking in the right place.
