Script for populating visio stencil shape data without manually inputting it.

Has anyone ever tried writing a script that can pull configuration data from an F5 Big-IP device and then populate the visio object with the data as shape data? A colleauge of mine advised that NetApp was able to provide him with a script to do this for his NetApp devices in the environment and he was looking at doing something similar with the F5 devices.

Just wanted to ask and see if anyone else has ever had this question. Looks like the object was meant for manual input not scripted update, but I figure it does not hurt to ask.
