Mar 02, 2006Running multiple SSL Proxies on one virtual server
Hi guys,
I have the following problem:
I need to create a bunch of SSL-Proxies on a V9 BigIP cluster, but do not have enough free IP addresses on the external network in order to build one virtual server for each SSL proxy.
Do you know of any method how to create one single virtual server that listens on port 443, analyzes the requested site and then dynamically performs an SSL-handshake for the requested URL?
Any idea would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Martin

Check out this Wiki page: Click here
You'll see an example rule that switches between which clientssl profile to use (and in turn which SSL Cert to use, since it's attached to that profile), based on client IP address.
If you're looking to do this selection based on the hostname that's being used, you have to use a little more ingenuity, as is detailed by rapmaster_c in this post: Click here
