Running DNS test for failover

I am trying to write an iRule to send a UDP DNS request and interpret the response:

 

 

I's like to pass a DNS request from the F5 to the pool of DNS servers, so if they don't respond with a valid response the F5 can failover to a second pool of cached DNS servers.

 

 

If anyone can help, it'd be appreciated.

    You should search the forum. I remember there's at least some posts talking about doing LB on DNS and the gotchas you need to look for...
