Rule description disappears, bug in LTM Policies Description?

Description disappears, bug in LTM Policies Description?

 

Tried this on 12.1.0 HF1 on a BIG-IP3900 and 5250, and can reproduce it. Under Local Traffic > Policies > Create/Edit any Draft Policie > Edit/create a rule with a description > click Save. (same result for "Save and Publish Policy"

 

Now the description is visible. But disappears when you click Save Draft under General Properties then all the Rule descriptions under are gone. Not a show stopper, but annoying.

    Hello, I think its a bug in the GUI, because in tmsh command line apparently is working. Regards.

    Edit/create a rule with a description

     

    Hi, I think that the issue is regarding the rule description and not policy description.

     

    Could you try that please?

    This is now officially a bug, and is being tracked as ID617229. It will be fixed in BigIP 13.0.0, and likely also in 12.1.2
