root recovery

Anyone ever recover the root password for a x4.5.14. Inherited this HA pair that are actually Dell 2650's.

 

 

 

System belly up'd this morning and old administrator is gone.

 

 

Still checking SOLs but no luck so far.

 

 

any help would be great!

    Wasn't the older stuff based on BSD? I should think you'd be able to interrupt the boot process and boot into single-user mode, then reset the password that way.

    Yeap.. SOL2526 did the trick..
