Mar 04, 2009Root Partition Low - Will F5 Crash?
I noticed that the root partition of two of our older F5s ver 4.x are both at %94 usage.
Is this normal? Can I expect them to stay at this capacity?
Will the F5s crash if the root partition gets to %100?

I'd suggest trying to remove old log files, patches, etc. This should work to find files over 10Mib:
find / -type f -size +10000k -exec ls -l {} \; |sort +4n

Actually, SOL3068 (Click here) suggests that if you're running on a 256Mb compact flash card, 93% usage of the / partition is expected.

Glad to hear that this is normal, the few files your command found were all from the original set-up date.
Thanks
