Reverse Proxy / Foward Proxy

I need to setup a (I guess)forward Proxy against a service that is provided by an external provider and demands basic authentication. The goal is to enable our internal webbservices to access this external service. I'm new at this and I would need some guidance.

    internal webservice ---> BIG-IP as proxy ---> external service

    iApps are a tool that could make setup easy for you, but they have changed a lot in recent releases. What version of BIG-IP TMOS are you running?

      Thank you for taking your time to answer my question.. I have now been working a bit more with F5 together with a consult so I have little more understanding how it works. I have managed to setup the function I wanted. I will look into iApps.
