Retrieving by Rest irules

Hi,

 

We'd like to establish a support map with an external tool. We'd like to have virtual Address->Virtual Servers, Virtual Servers->Pools and Pool-> nodes.

 

Unfortunatly, in our infrastructure (for log reason), the link between virtual servers and pools is through irules.

 

Could I retrieve irule content with REST? Is there an other way?

    Yes, you can use the rest interface to pull back the iRule list and the content for each iRule. You would still likely need to pull all the virtual servers as well to map rule->virtual and then the content within the iRule to map pool->virtual. The endpoint for rules via REST is:

    https:///mgmt/tm/ltm/rule/
