replace alteon with the ltm
Hi Phillip!
Not to be a showstopper and force you to reconsider plans, but BigIP LTM 2000 hardware appliance is too weak to be worthwhile compared to BigIP VE. If you're not going for BigIP 4000 (previous gen) or better, I recommend to consider going for BigIP VE. At later time, BigIP VE can be scaled at ease, and any pre-owned BigIP VE licenses can be migrated to a public cloud such as Amazon AWS for better pricing. It's flexible and not less capable than 2000. Once BigIP 2000 no longer is enough for your production scale, it's basically a useless box which at best can help you in labs or test environments. For VM Hypervisors, Libvirt KVM is a great free option for BigIP implementations.
In regards to config migration, your best bet is to do this work manually. It takes time, possibly a few days, but it's a one-time effort. There's a migration script available, but it certainly does not work perfectly. The way I see it, it's best to take it slow and do everything from a scratch instead of running that old script and then wasting possibly much more time trying to figure out stuff that script didn't convert correctly. Nevertheless, question was asked before here, for reference, Matthieu Dierick shared a link with script which may or may not help you with your task. Good luck with the project!

most the service is UP, except TCP port 7004. So I don't need the scrip file. I need advice. how to adjust the parameter of the TCP profile.

if I don't add virtual server in my ltm(ltm is transparent mode) the clint can access one server normally. however, it is not my required. because I have two server to be accessed.

Hello,
This is not something you configure in TCP profiles. To accept TCP port 7004 connections, create a new Virtual Server (possibly on the IP address you already use for another Virtual Server), and specify Port TCP 7004 in Virtual Server settings. This is normal to have more than one Virtual Server for a single service which listens on multiple ports in BigIP.
Note that if BigIP doesn't accept the connection, it will reply with TCP-RST. What filters were used for capture? In case of no TCP reply of any kind, it's possible you have an asymmetric routing issue. Check the statistics. Do you see Virtual Server/Pool counters increasing while capture shows those SYN 7004 packets towards BigIP VS?

thanks your comment- 1 I have set the virtula server to accept TCP port 7004. however the clint can not work normally. I have put the dump in the second floor "Comment made 1 week ago by phillipliu6 16" - I didn't see the TCP-TST 2. my ltm setting is transparent mode- there is not routing 3. where to find the Virtual Server/Pool counters increasing while capture shows those SYN 7004 packets towards BigIP VS
