Nov 01, 2007Renew SSL Certificate
Hi,
appologies up front if this is the wrong forum for this question.
We have a Verisign SSL cerificate installed on our BigIP. This cert is due to expire on the 11th of Nov. I generated a RENEW CSR for this certificate and renewed the cert. Versign sent through the new certificate and I imported it onto the BigIP. From the SSL Certificates screen the cert is now saying the expiration date is now Nov 9th 2008. So far so good.
The problem is when I connect to the virtual server that uses that SSL certificate my browser is reporting that the SSL certificate will expire on the 10th Nov 2007. So it seems the virtual server is not using the renewed certificate. I have stopped and started the virtual servers in case the new cert wasn't picked up until a restart, but my browser is still reporting that the SSL cert is due to expire on the 10th of Nov 2007.
Is there something I am missing?

This is described in SOL6066 (Click here):
As you found, you need to either reload the config or update each SSL profile which references the new SSL cert.
