Redistribute static to BGP only when traffic group is active

We'd like to configure active-passive BIG-IP cluster to advertise virtual servers and SNAT pools to BGP peers only when the traffic group is active on the device. For virtual servers it seems to work like this by default, but how would we do it with SNAT pools?

 

I tried configuring static route and even if it points to a pool thats unavailable on the passive node, I can see the route on passive nodes routing table in imish.

    Found out a solution: "Reject" type virtual server for the SNAT pool. This gets only advertised from the active host, and shows as a kernel route. Not sure if this is the best way to do this.
