Redirect to Another WebServer URL

Hi I am new to F5. We have F5 Load Balancer for Weblogic 2 Nodes Cluster. How can we redirect a request to other WebServer, if both Node of Weblogic is down ?   Thanks.

Hi

 

If I understand correctly, we require traffic to loadbalanced on weblogic node 1 (only) and if this node is down then the weblogic node 2 should be able to process traffic load.

 

For the above scenario, you could use Priority Group activation .. Please check the below thread: https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/priority-group-activation-why-use-it

 

Otherwise if we want to load balance w.r.t. load balancing method, then please see below link to decide the proper loadbalancing method suitable for the scenario:

    Thanks for reply. 2 Node Failover is defined, so if 1 node goes down, traffic is handled by 2nd node. What we want, if both nodes are down, then an another WebServer should process the request as Backup Server.
