redirect problem

Hi,

 

 

Hope someone could help me about the problem.

 

 

I have two partitions on the F5.

 

 

On the primary partition I setup a VIP 192.168.10.10 with two nodes (192.168.10.11 and 192.168.10.12) behind that VIP

 

 

On the secondary partition I setup a VIP 192.168.11.10 with two nodes (192.168.11.11 and 192.168.11.12)

 

 

The iRules I have implemented is when the two nodes in primary partitioin failed, the F5 will start to redirect the traffic to the secondary partition VIP which is 192.168.11.10

 

 

But that does not seem to be working.

 

 

I did a tcpdump, I could not see any traffic been redirected from 192.168.10.10 to 192.168.11.10.

 

 

I am quite sure the iRules is right, so is it just F5 would not forward the traffic to a VIP exist on the same devices?
