Redirect iRule

Hi,

 

 

I need to create an irule to perform a redirect based upon which server responds.

 

 

I.e, I have real server "A" and "B", if "A" responds then I need to redirect to a specific url and port (50000). The same goes for server "B", the only difference being the port.

 

 

Can anybody let me know if this is possible and provide a sample irule to perform this action?

    Hi Matt,

     

     

    You might try re-posting in the 9.x iRules forum (Click here) as it is more heavily trafficked than the iRuler feedback forum.

     

     

    Try to also provide more detail on the requirements for your scenario. Is it only one redirect that needs to be done? Do you want the BIG-IP to translate the port or redirect the client to the new port?
