Recommendation to not enable Auto-config-sync/Auto Save on LTM
I remember this recommendation from a LTM online course by Eric Mitchel: If you need to deploy a new change to the cluster you deploy it on the standby unit (say node2), switch it to active, test; if it's ok you manually sync from node2 to node1 to persist your change. Otherwise you roll back by syncing from node1 to node2 to recover the old config. This can only be done if you don't have auto-sync enabled, so this is Eric's recommendation.
Personally, I don't see an advantage for enabling auto-sync except that "auto" thing.
