Real servers on a different subnet and not directly connected to F5

Hello,

 

I am used to having the real servers directly connected to a F5 loadbalancers via a vlan. We have a situation where the real servers are on a different lans behind a firewall (Watchguard). Is this possible? urlrewrite is used also.

 

Vip > fw > F5 LTM > fw > real servers

    As far as you have a route in your routing table to reach the backend server is alright. In fact that is very usual.
