Mar 25, 2008Real example of my.logon.php3 ?
Without regurgitating what's in the online Help contents (I say that because that's the only existing "help" I've found on the forum), does anyone know how to find a real example of the default my.logon.php3? The reason being is we're trying to customize the front door page, yet keep our Pre-Logon Sequence. As you probably already know, if you place a generic index.htm file in the root of sandbox, you end up with your html, but the Pre-Logon Sequence will not run. From what I'm able to tell, this is a function of a sub within my.logon.php3. If that's not the case, please someone tell me. Assuming it is, how can I see the content of this file to find out what functions it's using/calling. I've tried calling it from index.htm, but obviously that ends up in the page being displayed with the default customizations that you can set from Device Management : Customization.
What I'd like to do is preserve the ability for the Pre-Logon Sequence to run, yet be able to completely change the front door page.
Thanks!

Garrett,
Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. We've tried several things, but in the end we just gave up. We've got a plain/default page with just our logos on it.
I've read that there are companies that supposed offer services to do this sort of thing, but we're not going to spend the money to find out.
We HAVE had luck modifying the Webtops though, but that's obviously well after the Pre-Logon sequence concerns. And we've spent a whole lot of time creating a pretty involved sequence.
