reactivate F5 BIG-IP VE with expired license.............

The new eval license will be your new base registration key.. You need to get this from F5 support or your sales rep. Once you have this, you can replace old reg key with new one and activate the license.

It could also be my problem that my second un-used val key also only has a 45 day trial and is expired even though it was never used.

Eval license will not expire if you did not apply it to the box. How are you saying its expired??
