Jan 23, 2008RDP Window maximizing
Hello Folk's,
I am load balancing RDP and using MSRDP as persistence profile. I have noticed that after every 300 seconds a minimized RDP window maximizes automatically without user intervention. P.S.this happens regardless of what timeout value you use on the MSRDP profile i.e. you can set it to 10 mins and still see the RDP window maximize after 5 minutes.
Has anyone noticed a similar problem?
Thank you

- Deb_Allen_18Historic F5 AccountI would hazard a guess that it's not persistence timeout that's being triggered, but a SNAT or tcp profile idle timeout / connection re-establishment (and persistence IS working). I know you can adjust the tcp profile timeout, but I know at least in some versions of LTM there was a hardcoded SNAT automap timeout.
Start with adjusting the tcp timeout, and see if there's a SNAT timeout that you can adjust. If that doesn't work, I'd say contact Support an open a case so they can help you figure it out via packet trace analysis.
