Question on using the keep Alive interval at TCP Profile
Hi,
As many of you know, due to the proxy design of the BIG-IP LTM system, the BIG-IP LTM acknowledges TCP Keep-Alives from the server, but does not proxy the TCP Keep-Alive packet to the client side. We would like to use the Keep Alive Interval option a the TCP profile to specify the interval to avoid timing out the connection before it actually gets over.
I want to know the impact to the Memory/CPU when using this option. Please let me know the standard or suggested value to use for the Keep Alive Interval to avoid the impact to Memory/CPU of the box.
Regards,

What might be a good value will depend on your requirements and other factors such as the number of connections etc. Can you provide some further detail please?
