Proxypass for reverse proxy

HI! A few days ago i did a f5 hw migration and i upgraded the firmware. All was ok but i needed to rewrite the Proxypass irule because in version 12 is a little different. At this point all ok but a have a doubt because i think that the f5 can do this process in a more simple way ....... My customer need to listen with the same ip serveral uris and do a balance to differenet pools.For example if i put o my explorer , this go to the pool a, and y i type this go to othe different pool , b. They are using the famous proxypass irule but i think there is a better way. Is this right ? Thanks in advance.
