Proxy load balancing

Hello,

 

 

I load balance 2 internet proxy.

 

 

F5 use a monitor with a timeout of 30 second. (the monitor check access to google)

 

 

It appears that sometime Internet has very slow latency and it marks two nodes down (Virtual server become down). In this case, it drop client packet. It is not the same behavior when client is directly connected to proxy.

 

 

I) Can i use time of monitor check to share connection between proxy?

 

if member 1 have time to access to google of 40s

 

if member 2 have time time to access to google of 10s

 

Then

 

member 1 will have 20% of load and member 2 80 %

 

 

II) Is it possible to have a pool and have a member which is always alive?

member 1 down firstly

 

member 2 down but still alive

 

 

Scenario 2

 

 

member 2 down firstly

 

member 1 down but still alive
