Problem trying to add a new device in an Enterprise Manager
I'm trying to add 2 new devices in an Enterprise Manager, Ver 3.1.1. They are BIGIP LTM Ver 10.2.4
The process stops but the devices are not added and appears the following message into the Task summary detail field:
"Could not get device slots from audit data: Audit data error: Class "Slot" not found"
What does this message means?
How can I fix it so I can add these 2 BIGIP devices?

Hi,
Im having the similar issue as well after an upgrade of the EM to version 3.0.0. Trying to add a pair of Viprions, both devices same version; one gets found with no issues, the another returns same error as Rene's. Could not get device slots from audit data: Audit data error: Class "Slot" not found.
Any ideas? The only thing that I haven't tried is to reactivate license on the Viprions

That's not something wrong with the EM, it's the LTM problem;
Most likely it's the logical_harddisk slot is not found on the LTM, not sure how LTM went to that stage but you may consider to reload the mcpd on LTM, it should make EM to get what she wants from LTM
http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/000/sol13030.html sol13030: Forcing the mcpd process to reload the BIG-IP configuration
Hope it will help.
Cheers
