Problem routing https to nodes

I'm new to the Big-Ip and have been tasked to set one up (11.3 Virtual) to route https requests to some L7 SSG boxes. I set up a "standard" virtual server and associate it to a pool of 2 L7 nodes. The L7s are not getting anything from what we can see. The browser session gets a "connection reset" message after a short while. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you servers have bigip as the default route ? If not , either turn on SNAT automap in the virtual server config or change the default route in your servers. Learn more about snat and automap here : http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/800/sol7820.html

You may want to also make sure you check your SSL configuration in the virtual server. If you want to terminate SSL on the bigip and re-encrypt put both a client and server ssl profile.

As you are new to the bigip I would recommend using an iApp to configure your setup here, however. Read all about the http iApp using the deployment guide : http://www.f5.com/pdf/deployment-guides/http-iapp-dg.pdf
