Problème pool

Hello,
A virtual IP address 10.10.10.218 is configured to listen on port 443. This IP redirects traffic to a server with the address 10.10.10.214. When I configured my Virtual Server (VS) to point to the IP address 10.10.10.218, the VS turned red (pool down).

  • To me it seems as though your pool member is failing the health monitor. You should be able to use a tcpdump on the F5 CLI to see what exactly is causing the failure if the pool member isn't showing you the reason in the GUI.

  • make sure the firewall in the app server and in-between f5 and app server allows the traffic.

unless you canfigure snat pool in the vs, bigip will use self/floating ip to communicate with pool member.
