Prioritize the connections in the F5
Hello,
I got a question from my team member, for example, in the F5, we configured 8 servers for the load balancing, but actually we expect the first 4 servers take the connections, and the next 4 servers are idle mode, which means, when one of the first 4 servers is down, then the 5th server is automatically activated and receives the connection.
Is there a way to configure the F5 like this way?
Thanks & regards, Leon
Yes absolutely - you just need to configure Priority Group Activation on your pool.

Hello Leon,
With priority group activation you will activating a group and not a single server.
What you are looking for is any one server in first four is faulty, the fifth server in the another group should activate, correct?
