Possible GTM Question

Maybe not a topic best suited for this forum, but I didn't see anywhere that appeared better.

 

 

I have two datacenters with X pairs of F5 LTM spraying to servers dispersed through both datacenters. In the event one pair of LTM should fail, I want its counterpart at the other datacenter to assume the VIPs and relevant configs. Is this a function the GTM provides or is this a "pipe dream?" Thanks!

    Hi Ekaleido,

     

    The GTM is an enhanced Domain Name System. Basically single domain name can be tied to +1 servers and configured for round robin, active/passive, geographic, priority, as an example. That is the extent of the capabilities from a high level.
